Shane Codd returns with his brand new single ‘Same Mistake’

Buzzworthy Irish superstar Shane Codd has returned with his first single of 2023 ‘Same Mistake’, dropping 27th January on Polydor.

‘Same Mistake’ is guaranteed to be a dancefloor favourite for 2023, combining soaring vocals, with infectious melodies and euphoric drops. The single follows Shane’s massive 2022 hits including ‘Feels So Good’, ‘Rather Be Alone’, and ‘Love Me Or Let Me Go’.

Shane Codd has amassed over 400M streams across his releases to date, including UK Top 10 & Platinum single ‘Get Out My Head’. The young talent has also had four consecutive US Dance Radio #1’s, ‘It Ain’t Right’, ‘Get Out My Head’, ‘Always On My Mind’ and ‘Rather Be Alone’; he is the first Irish artist to ever achieve this. The world-conquering ‘Get Out My Head’ went triple platinum in his native Ireland and broke into the UK Official Chart ‘Top 10’, peaking at #6. It drew wide support from an array of tastemakers, including Capital FM hosts Coco Cole and Mistajam, KISS FM’s Charlie Tee and BBC Radio 1’s Scott Mills.

Heavily influenced by the 90s and early-2000s dance sound, Shane Codd’s first big break came when he became a finalist at the 2018 ‘Breakout Producer’ competition held by renowned Irish DJ Mark McCabe. He has since played in cities and towns across his native Ireland, and last year embarked on his debut US tour. Constantly displaying his wide range of musical influences and tastes, Shane’s curations on Spotify have also been catching attention, with his Trance Anthems playlist racking up over 100k followers

Continuing to prove his status as a frontrunner in the UK electronic scene, Shane Codd is showing no signs of stopping.
