Hotly tipped electro-tech label, Herr Zimmerman, famed for its sell out club nights in Rotterdam featuring acts like Gesaffelstein, Zombie Nation, Erol Alkan, Brodinski et al, kick start the new year with a big room, techno rave offering by ones to watch duo, Shell Shock called ‘Secrets’ this February.
Shell Shock is the pairing of Barcelona’s Santiago Serrate of Strange Connection and American singer, Eden. Brought together by a common love of 80’s industrial records and alternative techno, the inspiration behind ‘Secrets’ was evident. Featuring a clutch a remixes from rising stars in the Electronic Body Music and Techno scene, this is one club banger not to be missed.
Remixes come courtesy of Millimetric (FR), Fraulein Z (NL), SplatterPunk (ES) and AudioWitch (NL).
Herr Zimmerman Records was founded by DJ/producer, Fraulein Z alongside her infamous parties of the same name in Rotterdam. Espousing a no holds barred, hi octane approach to music, very much like the club nights. Previous releases on Herr Zimmerman Records include Fraulein Z’s, ‘Sex Shooter’, ‘Christiane F’ and ‘Royal Junk’, supported by artists such as Dave Clarke, Anthony Rother, Dr. Lektroluv, Brodinski, David Carretta, Yasmin Gate, and many more.
