Shermanology bring the heat on infectious new single ‘My World’

Having been named on Spotify’s Mint Artists to watch 2024, the sibling duo share another gem on their D’Eaupe label

Continuing their run of head–turning singles, Curaćao dance music legends Shermanology unveil their infectious new single ‘My World’, out on 5th July on the duo’s own D’Eaupe label.

Fusing their old school house sound with UK garage influences, ‘My World’ is a high-octane euphoric tune from Shermanology, built around Dorothy Sherman’s soulful, acrobatic vocals and an intricate, bass-heavy groove. “You are all that I need in this whole world”, goes the unforgettable central hook, guaranteed to get hands in the air.

Shermanology are fresh from their recent single ‘Rain’ with Todd Edwards and Rudimental, a remix of Jamie Jones’ ‘We Groovin’ ft Jazzy, as well as their Roots EP (The Remixes) on D’Eaupe, featuring reworks of last year’s Roots EP by René Amesz, Hector Cuoto, SYREETA, WZA and Chico Rose.

The duo are also coming off the back of a momentous 2023, with singles including Boyz II Men collaboration ‘Motown Philly’, ‘Can’t Let Go’’, plus the Roots EP – a two-part release showcasing the diverse talents and influences that have shaped Shermanology’s unique sound, not to mention their first release on the legendary Defected label – ‘Sometimes’ – which lit up dance floors globally.

An invigorating fusion of Caribbean-Dutch heritage and old-school house, Shermanology, the brainchild of brother and sister Andy and  Dorothy Sherman, presents an infectious world of 90’s nostalgia and funk reinvention.

The duo have garnered global support, surpassing 250 million Spotify streams, and have been named Spotify’s Mint Artists to Watch in 2023 and 2024. Shermanology sustains a festival-packed schedule, including performances at EDC Mexico, BPM Festival, Kappa Futur Festival, ADE, Art Basel, Hideout, and Rio’s The Town with a massive audience capacity of 100,000.

Since their single “Boyz N Da Club” was dubbed ‘Hottest Record in the World’ by Annie Mac on BBC Radio One, a viral release on their own imprint D’Eaupe, Shermanology have seen widely successful releases on esteemed labels Hot Creations, Cuttin Headz, and Defected, as well as collaborations with with FISHER on “It’s A Killa” on his Catch & Release label and remixes for house legends Todd Edwards and Fatboy Slim.

The duo have brought their unique sound to iconic parties hosted by El Row, Paradise, He.She.They, LaLaLand, and made appearances at iconic venues such as Space Miami and Drumsheds.
