Released today, Shift K3y’s huge track “I Know” gets reworked by Danish producer SLOWOLF.
SLOWOLF’s last remix, on fellow Dane MØ’s “Walk This Way”, hit #1 on the main Hype Machine chart and stacked up over a quarter of a million soundcloud plays in just two weeks.
Demonstrating a powerful sound that rolls over the current wave of low-slung, futuristic hip-hop, underpinned by oversized, heavy bass notes and a barely restrained, pulsating beat, described best by Noisey as “adrenaline heavy and genre-defining”, the rising beatsmith SLOWOLF, born Andreas Asingh, released two EPs Wolf Grey and Bounty over the summer, featuring Wu-Tang Clan chief Raekwon, MTA Records’ Grime Prince Dream Mclean and frequent Rihanna collaborator Takura.
With everyone hammering at the door to get a SLOWOLF sound on their track, you can expect some more, very exciting official remixes, before a new EP from the wunderkind producer towards the end of the year.
