David Starfire's new single “Shock" is the second track featured on his new EP Lapis OUT now on his imprint Amrita Recordings. "Shock" is a stunning glitch hop-twerk dance floor slammer that features the Ragga Twins, the award-winning vocalists that were featured on Skrillex’s Grammy-winning album Recess. This spectacular track also features instruments from India including the tumbi, bansuri, and dhol drums. Starfire will be touring in support of the EP this fall. His tour kicks off at Alex Grey's Halloween party at Cosm on October 29th.

Starfire has demonstrated his ability to merge indigenous music with modern, electronic production methods. Over the years, his performances have landed him in esteemed locations, from Coachella and Shambhala to the Pyramids of Giza. He has collaborated with a wide range of amazing artists, from Ooah (The Glitch Mob), Afrika Bambaataa, Gaudi, Natacha Atlas, and more. Starfire also has a side project with FreQ Nasty called Dub Kirtan All Stars, which is also featured on Lapis.
