Shouse Team Up with Vance Joy for Hearfelt Collaboration “Wherever You Are”

Out now, the new single lands ahead of the release of their debut album “Collective Ecstacy”, which drops on Hell Beach / OneLove July 4.

Award-winning Melbourne-based electronic duo SHOUSE (Jack Madin and Ed Service) unveil a deeply moving collaboration with one of Australia’s most decorated voices, Vance Joy. Their new single, “Wherever You Are”, is out now via Hell Beach / One Love, and stands as the stirring finale to the duo’s highly anticipated debut album, Collective Ecstasy, set for release Friday 4 July.

A sweeping, emotional closer, “Wherever You Are” trades the dancefloor for something more intimate, a tender lullaby for the ones we miss, the moments that linger and the promise that love can reach across any distance. SHOUSE’s signature layered choirs wrap around Vance Joy’s warm and wistful vocal, weaving a dreamy mix that floats somewhere between electronica, folk and choral soul.

SHOUSE’s Jack Madin shares:  “Remember back to the love of your life. The one you aren’t with now. The one you’ll remember forever. This song is for them.”

Vance Joy on today’s single. “When I heard the song I immediately connected with it. When I sang it in the studio, it flowed out so purely. There’s a unique dna and mood to the songs SHOUSE write. I’m a fan.”

“Wherever You Are” is the latest chapter in what has already been a landmark year for SHOUSE. Earlier this year, the duo completed their beloved “Love Tonight” trilogy with the release of “Call My Name” – a soaring anthem that earned widespread radio support across Europe. The track followed the success of “Walk With Me”, the duo’s dance collaboration with Felix Jaehn, which has amassed over 500,000 Shazams in Europe and dominated radio across the continent. These releases all form the fabric of Collective Ecstasy – a record built on the same spirit of community and shared emotion that has always defined SHOUSE. Crafted largely in Melbourne with contributions from friends around the world, the album captures everything from the euphoric highs of the dancefloor to the quiet, reflective moments that follow.

Last week saw the return of SHOUSE Communitas, the duo’s signature mass-musicking event, curated as part of Melbourne’s RISING Festival. A uniquely SHOUSE experience, Communitas invites everyone into the band: hundreds of voices, no spectators, just pure collective expression. It’s the physical manifestation of the values behind Collective Ecstasy – connection, collaboration, and community through sound.

SHOUSE burst onto the global scene with their anthemic breakout hit “Love Tonight”, which became a dancefloor phenomenon across the world, charting Top 10 in over 20 countries, earning Platinum certification in both the USA and UK, Triple Platinum in Australia and Diamond status in France, and now surpassing 1 billion streams. Since then, the pair have cemented their place in the international dance and live music landscape, known for turning moments of collective feeling into genre-blurring anthems.
