Steve McCready - Show Me The Way (Incl. Gwen Maze & Kuba Sojka Remixes)

Dogmatik returns with a new single from Ireland’s Steve McCready this March, entitled ‘Show Me The Way’ and accompanied by Gwen Maze and Kuba Sojka remixes.

Irish born now Manchester based producer and DJ Steve McCready has been releasing material under his own name and his Smak alias since 2010 via the likes of Hype Muzik, Baroque, Riff Raff and of course Dogmatik. Here we see him return to the latter following his Smak cut ‘All I Need’ which featured on the labels various artists ‘EP2’ package back in 2012.

The original mix of ‘Show Me The Way’ opens up the EP and sees McCready fuse raw rhythms and a snaking analogue bass lead with infectious vocal hooks and swirling atmospherics to create a classic house track with a unique touch from this rising producer.

French artist Gwen Maze steps up to rework ‘Show Me The Way’ next, and the One Records / Silver Network producer reshapes thing with his signature groove-led style, laying the focus on a tumbling percussive groove, chuggy low end tones and intricately processed snippets from the original record. Finally Kuba Sojka closes the package with his take on things, delivering a typically melodic and hypnotic remix from the Polish up and comer.

Steve McCready’s ‘Show Me The Way’ is out on Dogmatik 14th March 2016.
