The world-renowned Dutch DJ/producer duo, Showtek, release the remix package for their reggae-infused festival anthem, “Booyah” feat. We Are Loud! & Sonny Wilson, due out on Friday, November 8th. “Booyah” has undoubtedly taken the dance music world by storm becoming a staple in countless sets, and even months after its release, it still remains at the top of the charts in the UK. Showtek has enlisted Brooks, Cash Cash, JP Candela & Alexander Som, and Lucky Date to work their studio magic and add to the song’s phenomenal reception. Leading off the package, Oakland’s Lucky Date takes “Booyah” further into a heavier progressive house realm while incorporating a hardstyle vibe for the second drop. The established DJ/production trio, Cash Cash, follows suit with their own stunning rendition that is one part big-room and one part moombahton, with chopped and screwed melodies throughout. Next up, Brooks switches things up and provides gritty, distorted bass lines and a high energy arrangement fit for electro-house lovers. Closing out the release, the Spanish up and comers, JP Candela & Alexander Som, work the rave anthem into a club-ready track with big synth one-shots and pumping bass. This “Booyah” remix package is certainly a must-have for casual listeners and DJs alike.
