Renowned DJ/production duo Showtek are back on the release radar with their first sonic endeavor of 2022, ‘Pour It Down’. Their latest original production directly follows up a slew of highly successful 2021 tunes such as last February’s ‘Pum Pum’, the 2-track ‘Mercy’ EP from the tail end of last March, and the May-released collaborative hit with Theresa Rex ‘What Is Love’. The new offering sees the pair linking up with VÉRITÉ for an enthralling musical journey, and is out now, available to listen to across all streaming platforms via Universal Music.
A piano is introduced into the space, quickly followed by VÉRITÉ’s flowing, melodious vocal. Flawlessly executed, her mellifluous performance is paired perfectly alongside the house music elements present throughout the entirety of its runtime. The sprightly rinser audibly boasts piano house sensibilities, a certified feelgood gem that’s primed for festivals and club nights the world over. The anthemic, soaring quality in her vocal also ties the single and its four-on-the-floor flair together in the best possible way, in turn producing an enthralling piece of work that leans into the house music genre magnificently, and also serves as an excellent party opus to kick off the new year.
ABOUT VÉRITÉ — Independent NYC-based talent VÉRITÉ is a multifaceted creative force who, over time, has had experience songwriting, executive producing, and performing. Since 2013, her work has impressively garnered over 350 million-plus streams across all platforms and has gained her over 1 million monthly listeners via Spotify. Her recent string of singles see the esteemed creative force delving into the intricacies of her emotions while exploring topics surrounding love, depression, happiness, and life. Recently the established act has entered the crypto space, dabbling in the realm of NFT’s in an aim to place the power back in the musician’s hands.
