“Silence” by thought provoking songwriter Jason Chaffee

Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jason Chaffee is back with “Silence,” an atmospheric alternative pop-rock single which is out now. Blending dark, nostalgic ’80s-inspired synths, shadowy electronic textures and a driving backbeat, the track explores the things we keep hidden for fear of burdening others or being seen as “too much.”

Drawing on personal experiences with chronic illness, addiction, recovery and mental health, Jason delivers an emotionally direct and deeply relatable song that finds connection in the things left unsaid.

With echoes of Peter Gabriel, David Sylvian and The Blue Nile, “Silence” pairs brooding sonic landscapes with an intimate, human message.
