Ill Measures celebrates Record Store day by inviting two of our favourite selectors to spin, uniting the mighty Simbad (Brownswood/Apron Records) and Seiji (Bugz in the Attic) for a special affair.
Having collaborated with the likes of Mala, Roots Manuva, Tony Allen and Gilles Peterson, Simbad (aka SMBD) has become a stalwart of the underground music scene. Fresh off a killer release on Apron Records, we invite his eclectic collections to the dance floor, positive vibes guaranteed!

Joining Simbad is Seiji. From his work with the legendary Bugz in the Attic posse to countless remixes escapades, his contribution to club music over the years makes him one of the most serious selectors and promises for an education in soulful beats.

Pattern Sounds, made up of 3 serious selectors, Selassie TBC (Worldwide), Yomi (Balamii) and Wardo, play hosts to room 2 and welcome another very special guest in Warren Xclnce to join them. Notorious for his maverick-like creativity, Warren’s distinctive and comfortingly soulful sound is a concoction of influences from multiple genres, with J. Dilla and Flying Lotus specified as some of the most impactful artists on his own style.
