Simina Grigoriu Debuts On Kneaded Pains With Her ‘Instruments Of Society’ EP

Continuing her meteoric rise to the upper echelons of Techno, Romanian-born DJ and producer Simina Grigoriu marks her debut release for Dense & Pika’s esteemed UK-based imprint, Kneaded Pains, with her brand-new EP, ‘Instruments Of Society’. Out now across all streaming platforms, the two-tracker is set to follow in the global success of her acclaimed ‘Declare Me’ EP for Drumcode Ltd in July of this year.

‘Instruments of Society’ embodies everything fans have come to expect from Simina’s unique style. Packed with thumping kick drums, driving, rumbling basslines and futuristic, gritty synths, the lead single offers a powerful listening experience for lovers of peak-time techno.

It’s B-side ‘Pillars of Virtue’ is another high-octane offering, with crisp percussive hits, digital bleeps and warped vocal statements that create a heady, after-hours moment. Testament to Grigoriu’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of electronic music’s raw and minimal underbelly, her maiden voyage on the renowned label serves as yet another stellar addition to her flourishing catalogue of quality cuts.

Building on what has already been an outstanding year, Grigoriu continues to establish herself as one of the most invaluable figures within the global techno scene. Her latest productions have landed on some of the most influential and prestigious record labels in the genre, including Drumcode, Tronic, Off Recordings and her own Kuukou Records. With her intricate productions, captivating performances and undeniable artistry, Simina’s star continues to rise.
