Berlin-based techno powerhouse Simina Grigoriu opens 2026 with Drenched, a commanding new three-track EP on Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave, marking her first release of the year and a powerful continuation of her longstanding relationship with the label.

Following two previous We Are The Brave outings (her Mental Warfare EP debut in 2023 and 2024’s acclaimed The Ceremonialist EP) Drenched sees Simina further refine a sound that is powerful, soulful and fully integrated, blending raw physical drive with deep emotional intent.

The EP arrives after a huge 2025 for Simina, a year that included standout releases on Drumcode LTD., OFF Recordings, Terminal M, and her own Kuukou Records, firmly establishing her as one of modern techno’s most consistent and forward-thinking voices.

The EP’s title track ‘Drenched’ sets the tone with unrelenting momentum and immersive low-end pressure. Up next, ‘Illusion of Ego’ dives inward, pairing up-tempo power with a dynamic, multi-layered undercurrent.
