Simon Field drops high energy house cut Handle That (Drip, Drip, Drip)

Norwegian producer, Simon Fieldis back on his regular home label, Perfect Havoc with yet another standout house track in the form of ‘Handle That (Drip, Drip, Drip)’ feat. Ragdoll. With a dirty bassline and sleazy vocals, this newest creation arrives on October 13 and comes hot on the heels of Field’s well-received album ‘Need No Music’ back in August, and not long after his March outing with James Hurr on ‘Vibe Like That’ featuring alt-pop artist, Georgia Meek, which saw huge support from tastemakers such as Benny Benassi, Bingo Players, Mark Knight and Gorgon City.

Field is a restless and prolific creative talent. His music – which is always made on all analogue gear to give it’s authentic edge and engaging texture – has picked up over 100m streams and has been synced to high-profile TV shows such as Californication, Ugly Betty, Netflix’s Elite and the Academy Award-nominated film Passengers.

Basement is the latest creative outlet for Field comprising the boutique Basement Records; an underground hub for his own hot tracks, plus Basement Sessions, a series of intimate, underground club events that’ve been selling out venues in Oslo. With a residency on Radio FG in France and an always jam-packed DJ schedule, Field is an ever more prominent name in dance circles thanks to his ability to craft indelible tracks that always make a mark in the club.

On ‘Handle That (Drip, Drip Drip)’, the track features a catchy and unique vocal by new vocal profile, Ragdoll who brings the track alive with the infectious title repeated throughout. Down below the vocal, which is delivered with real attitude, is a brilliantly gritty bassline that never quits. The drums grind out a killer groove while flashes of synth brilliance bring moments of real euphoria that ensure this track works in the club, on the radio and beyond.

It finds a perfect home on the leading independent dance label Perfect Havoc which continues to enjoy a run of successes. Not only does it offer up fresh cuts from across the dance, house, tech and melodic spectrum, but it was also shortlisted for Best Independent Record Label at the 2023 Music Week Awards. Its catalogue now boasts a combined total of over 10 billion global streams, six UK Top 20 singles and multiple platinum, gold, and silver awards, all of which speak of a brilliant A&R policy that manages to merge the best of commercial dance alongside club-focused modern classics.

Keep an ear out for more Perfect Havoc releases in 2023 from Jack Kelly x James French, Ros T, Stephani B x Movada and many more.
