Sinca Delivers Official Remix of ‘Are We Alive’ for Husa & Zeyada

Tried and tested in her performances all over the planet, Montreal-based producer Sinca’s sizzling remix of Husa & Zeyada’s Are We Alive has landed on their newly established imprint Soundscool.

Infusing her recognizable sound into Are We Alive, Sinca dives into a deep and hypnotic soundscape with rhythmic percussion, groove-inducing instrumentals and the original’s alluring vocals. Crafted to keep dancefloors moving across its duration, Sinca’s spellbinding rendition has connected with fans from Coachella to Burning Man and beyond over the past six months.

Speaking about the release, Sinca mentioned:

I’ve been a fan of Husa & Zeyada since they first launched their duo project a few years ago. There’s something magical about their sound, it’s groovy, it’s unique, and there’s an effortless sexiness in Zeyada’s vocals that always draws me in. When they reached out and asked me to remix Are We Alive, I felt excited and deeply honored. I loved the original, so my goal was to create a version that preserves its essence while adding an indie dance vibe with melodic and hopeful touches. I played around with the vocals to add some unexpected, intriguing moments, almost like finding new emotions hidden within the track.

It’s even more special because this remix will be released on their brand new label, Sound Cool. It feels like I’m part of the very beginning of something meaningful. I can’t wait to see how their label grows and the beautiful community that will blossom around it.”

Making her Bedrock Records debut with an official remix of industry legends John Digweed and Nick Muir’s classic Santiago, Sinca has experienced her most prolific summer to date. Playing stand out shows around the planet, Sinca performed at All Day I Dream’s showcases in New York and Ibiza, as well as shows in Miami, Toronto, Berlin, Paris, San Diego to name a few. Gracing an array of the world’s top festivals, Sinca also performed at Anjunadeep Explorations in Albania, Osheaga Festival in Montreal, Sziget Festival in Hungary, Beyond The Pines Festival in Minnesota, M DGTL in Quebec and Burning Man in Nevada. Closing the year on a high, Sinca was included in 1001 Tracklists’ The Future Of Dance 2024 selections, played alongside Guy J and Henry Saiz at Bedrock’s ADE showcase, and was a judge at the Demolition XXVII panel.

Husa & Zeyada’s sound simmers towards indie-rock dance electronica, draped in English and Arabic lyrics, open for experimentation. This inward trip is also visual – in an ongoing comic parallel world, Husa & Zeyada give center-stage to the more curious and peculiar parts of themselves. Each release is accompanied by illustrated stories of the little creatures that inhabit our minds; the ones that spring from our subconscious, shaped by pressures and desires. Launching their own imprint, Sound Cool, this innovative and intriguing duo continue to make their mark on the global music scene.
