Straight from the underground scene of Amsterdam, T1 Music welcomes back Rebelle with her new job titled "Skin Ep".
She brought her contagious sound, which takes flavours from Chicago house to techno at big events like Tomorrowland, Fuse and Radion, sharing the stage with legends such as Tyree Cooper, a Guy Called Gerald and Marshall Jefferson, and she's also the creator of "Lawless", her own event organization in Amsterdam. Her distinctive tracks are always difficult to frame in a single genre, and this new ep won't be an exception: The original mix of "Skin" is a deep minimalistic and trippy journey, while the "Re-work" interpretation twists the groove a little more, creating a perfect dancefloor tool. "Wales" keeps that same minimalish energy going, adding some bellish percussions to the rhythm. "House Is House" is just a pinch more housy, with a powerful kick and some nasty synths.
Last but not least you'll find "Rejoice", a simple yet effective track with awesome preaching vocal samples and some smooth synth chords.
Enjoy this ep, and play it loud.
