The trio doubled up with their massive club banger, ‘Hero’ which also went #1 in Beatport’s Progressive House chart and #7 Overall. Continuing their upward trajectory, collaborations created with with Blasterjaxx in ’Soldier’ (#3 in Electro House / # 3 Overall) and Bassjackers ‘Marco Polo’ (#1 in Progressive House / #7 Overall). ‘SLEEPLESS EP’
With their new EP ‘Sleepless’, out now on Spinnin’ Records, Breathe Carolina definitely showcase this musical ability and their diversity in music styles. The ‘Sleepless’ EP is the sonic accumulation of the struggle and affirmation of Breathe Carolina. “To say that the last couple of years for us have been rough is an understatement. We have been going through a transformation of who we are as a group.”, explains David. “There were many sleepless nights put into this. This EP is the result of the tireless work and dedication we have put in alongside a rabid fanbase that has continuously supported us through our career.”, Tommy continues.
‘NIGHTS’
As a teaser for this EP, the trio first released their track ‘Nights’, a track which was written rather fast. “It is the first thing we started singing when hearing the chord progression and it is a perfect example of raw emotion recorded straight form the source. INUKSHUK took our initial idea and really shaped it to what you hear today.”, explains Eric.
‘STABLE’
Another track on the EP is the track ‘Stable’, which is according to Breathe Carolina one of their most real and honest songs which they have ever made. Breathe Carolina explains: “It was written at a time where things were a bit rocky and our future was very unclear. It is the anthem of keeping yourself on the balanced bath of good and bad and really finding a way to keep it all together. Connecting with CROSSNADERS on this song took it to the level it needed to be.”.
‘Stable’ will be accompanied by a beautiful video. The video really embodies the feeling and the vibe of the song, finding the balance between good and bad and doing what you can to keep everything “stable”. MTV premiered the video for ‘Stable’ earlier today here.
