A high profile collaboration between French DJ and production duo Slideback and the talented Philippe B has resulted into a top-notch release by the name of ‘Do It’. Out now on Beatport their latest single is a continuation on previous collaborations between the two acts, such as: ‘Feel Good’, ‘Elounda’ and ‘Housecat’.

When esteemed artists like Slideback and Philippe B put their minds together, one can only anticipate a quality end product, and ‘Do It’ certainly fulfilled the expectations. Having established themselves as trendsetters within the House music scene Slideback have been putting forward their exemplary musical vision, piling up multiple achievements. Embedded within the House genre, ‘Do It’ kicks off with a typical House beat, later introducing a deep kick to intensify the mood. The vocals are put into the equation to get started on the melodic side of things, whilst an infectious lead synth melody takes over. A powerful ascension gives way to a forceful rendition of the main chorus before breaking into a mellower vocal section. A pitch-shifted version of the lead synth melody drives the single forward together with the smooth vocals before bursting into another punchy chorus. The production team takes full control of dynamics, offering different variations of the main section before stripping away energy for a softer conclusion.
