Rising NYC duo Smith & Sorren team up with Southern star Ezra Blizzard for new collaboration ‘What’s The Deal’, out now on all streaming platforms and download sites. Leaning fully into the ‘less is more’ philosophy of minimal tech house, the trio crafts a subtle but relentless pace with percussion, bass, and vocal elements to maximum dance floor effect.
Championed by the likes of David Guetta, The Chainsmokers, and Diplo, Smith & Sorren are an increasing name on the tech-house circuit. Their remix of Eliza Rose’s ‘Baddest of Them All’ saw them dominate airwaves with heavy rotation on SiriusXM Diplo’s Revolution. Their productions have scaled the heights of the Beatport charts, with one #1 under their belt already, followed by 5 Top 10 tracks. They’ve had similar success in the DSP realm too, with features on Spotify’s influential Housewerk and Friday Night Cratediggers playlists bringing their productions to the ears of millions worldwide.
Mississippi star Ezra Blissard had his early influences rooted in 80s and 90s blues and funk, but soon found himself seguing into the realm of tech house. With his sophomore single ‘Dark Side’ reaping over 600,000 streams, his blend of heritage and modern genres is already causing a stir.
