Like oaks from acorns, Richard’s summer wonder starts elemental … then builds, builds, builds till it’s as high as it’ll go! With bass seeding groove into every galloping kick, it pours timbale-style percussion, mid-90s-riffing fx and a horn-tipped mainline onto a clubfloor that we wager’s not even close to ready!
Naturally, Solarstone can’t resist giving the heartstrings a bit of a tug too, letting Barber-esque bowstrings sweep emotively through its drop. As they do, its instrumental harmonies, so subtly woven into its fabric, clarify into its titular topline … and ‘Thinking Of You’s well and truly born!!
