Solarstone – Thinking of You

With some killer producer/singer-songwriter debuts already under his 2024 belt, (‘The One’ and ‘Revelation’ sung by Stine Grove by Evan Henzi to be exactingly specific!), Solarstone’s lifted every club voice this year.

Time for some instrumental finery then!?

Well yes and no …

Like oaks from acorns, Richard’s summer wonder starts elemental … then builds, builds, builds till it’s as high as it’ll go! With bass seeding groove into every galloping kick, it pours timbale-style percussion, mid-90s-riffing fx and a horn-tipped mainline onto a clubfloor that we wager’s not even close to ready!

Naturally, Solarstone can’t resist giving the heartstrings a bit of a tug too, letting Barber-esque bowstrings sweep emotively through its drop. As they do, its instrumental harmonies, so subtly woven into its fabric, clarify into its titular topline … and ‘Thinking Of You’s well and truly born!!
