This March Gonzalo Solimano releases ‘Factor H’ on Unlock Recordings, featuring a couple of remixes from long time friends Guti and Fase. The Argentinian native has been at the helm of his Buenos Aires based imprint since its foundation in 2005 and has stacked up an impressive back catalogue featuring artists such as Barem, Ronan Portela, Luca M, Daniel Sanchez and Jorge Savoretti.
Over the years the South American producer has put out a string of successful singles and two albums on Unlock, after a short hiatus he returns in fine form with title cut ‘Factor H’, a roundabout tribal affair tightly woven over groovy percussion and bubbling rhythms that begs to be moved to.
First up for remix duty is Fase who seamlessly employs jagged beats and swollen bass to work out a rumbling almost hypnotic rhythm for a powerful re-imagining. The musical powerhouse that is Guti has seen releases across a staggering amount of labels that include Desolat, Crosstown Rebels, Wolf + Lamb, Defected and Cadenza. He returns to Unlock with a deep and driving cut utilising warm tones and infectious grooves for his dynamic take on ‘Factor H’.
Head honcho Solimano provides a DJ tool edition as a fourth provision while digital buyers will additionally enjoy a bonus Guti version.
