A climactic tech trance adventure, Chester Young is the Be Yourself hero in charge of saving the world faced with ‘Someone’, attacking with a rasping synth melody where time is seemingly against him. Thankfully this won’t be the case as the Moscow-based producer keeps the dancefloor enthralled, the keys jumping from danger to danger and nailing the landing every time. The detached, haunted vocal broadcast from another dimension provides a moment of hushed contemplation, before Young resumes raving on the run at the heart of a futuristic universe.
Originally from Chicago but now a resident of Russia, Chester Young has made one hell of an impact since coming onto the scene’s radar in 2017. After putting in work for Armada, Spinnin’ and Hexagon, he has stepped up to become a major player on Hardwell’s Revealed label. 2019 saw Young blow up big time with his Castion collaboration ‘PYRO’: released on Fedde Le Grand’s Darklight label, it’s amassed over two million streams on Soundcloud, converted into billions when the hyperclash of ragga, dubstep and house went viral on TikTok. His YouTube views and monthly numbers on Spotify are similarly, stupendously off the scale.
Not content with simply watching his stats stack up, Chester also hosts the ‘Young Nation’ show, hour long specials that prove his ever-growing pull. Featuring the cream of dance music in the mix, Tiësto, Steve Aoki, Nicky Romero, Mark Knight and Lucas & Steve have all dropped by over the last 12 months.
