Sonnee kicks off the new year with new cut ‘About You’, hard upon his November single ‘Dancing Ain’t Enough’ feat POLIÇA which has already racked up 3.2+ million streams on Spotify alone.

‘About You’ has an upbeat, optimistic lightness of spirit, just what February needs. It showcases Sonnee’s signature almost chiming, melodic piano/key notes, a breathy vocal singing clear lyrics, subtle use of pitch-shifting and a bounding beat creating both a soundscape and a song.

‘’About You’ has a different energy to my previous tracks’ Sonnee says. ‘I made this one before my first ever live show and wanted something new I could play out. The first draft came together in one day and it’s just been tweaking it since! Originally the tune was about the beginning of a relationship, but once I added the vocals it completely flipped to the ending of one. I loved the clashing of the two views on what the instrumental was trying to say.’
