German trailblazer, Emanuel Satie will soon mix the next instalment in Get Physical’s excellent Body Language series. Before that, he serves up a stunning remix to be released ahead of the compilation, giving a taster of what to expect, and which is sure to be one of the key tracks within the mix.
The Berlin based DJ and producer has built up an impressive catalogue of house and tech cuts since 2011. He is a serial Get Physical contributor, as well as a regular on Saved Records, Moon Harbour and Knee Deep In Sound, and has an infectious style that’s filled with character, always pushing boundaries and never following trends. His recent single on Rebirth, huge in Ibiza right now, was Pete Tong’s Miami Music Week ‘Essential New Tune’ and he is once again riding a huge wave of popularity.

Satie’s engaging version is dynamic, whilst warm and emotive, with solid drums rising and falling and freaky vocals permeating the groove. Vocal ad-libs add a sense of soul, and scattered percussion adds to the drama. This is a cut that is sure to see find favour with DJs and clubbers alike all through the summer and beyond
