Experimental artist Kevin Gleeson, the visionary behind Sour Blood, has just unveiled his debut album, Suas. Known for his inventive soundscapes, Gleeson, a Tipperary-born Irish artist, continues to push boundaries with this self-released project. Following the success of his singles “Suas” and “The Devil,” both featured on the album, Suas, showcases his unique musical evolution.
Crafted between Gothenburg, Sweden, and Dublin, Ireland from 2022 to 2023 in collaboration with Brendan Jenkinson, Suas, is a testament to its creators’ deep immersion in the music. The album kicks off with “Landfill,” a ghostly and minimal instrumental that gradually transforms into a pulsating display of electronic textures, setting the stage for the surprises to come.
