Space 92 launches record label TAKEOFF and delivers debut single OFFBEAT

Trailblazing French producer and one of techno’s top-selling artists, Space 92 announces the launch of his brand-new record label, TAKEOFF. Taking the helm for the first release, the label boss works his magic with ‘Offbeat’, setting the tone for a fresh era of bold, cutting-edge techno.

Blending pulsating, trance-infused beats with swaggering rap vocals, with the ‘Offbeat’ EP Space 92 delivers a sound that’s as hypnotic as it is dancefloor-ready. The track highlights Space 92’s signature production style – distorted percussion, trancey rhythms, and touches of acid – wrapped in an infectious groove.

“I was immediately attracted to the raw vocals; they had a swag about them that I liked, I felt I could build something around that.” Space 92

For Space 92, launching TAKEOFF represents a milestone in an already illustrious career. One of techno’s most influential artists, the pioneering Frenchman has held the phenomenal achievement of being the best-selling Techno Peak Time artist since 2020 as well as adding a string of Beatport Number Ones to his name. With his music dominating the scene, the launch of his debut label will see Space 92 continue to shape the future of the techno music landscape.

“Seeing Offbeat on my own label as its very first release is an incredible feeling. I am very excited, and also a bit nervous, I really hope people will like it!”  Space 92

Known for his unique sound – a fusion of trancey techno, acid influences, and 80s sci-fi nostalgia – Space 92 has been a staple on the world stage, played by the genre’s greatest. Standout releases like ‘Planet X’‘The Door’, and ‘Gravity’ have cemented his reputation as a chart-topping powerhouse, while collaborations with artists such as Popof (as one half of ground-breaking hybrid/live act Turbulences), Reinier ZonneveldHi-Lo and Hardwell see him consistently pushing the boundaries of modern techno.

With TAKEOFF, Space 92 aims to create a platform for forward-thinking artists, providing a launchpad for innovative sounds that captivate and inspire.

Keep up with the TAKEOFF here.
