DJ and producer duo Sparrow & Barbossa bring their innovative Caribbean House sound to CircoLoco Records with their latest single, ‘Float’, featuring Brooklyn-based R&B vocalist BAYLI.
The track made its live debut at this year’s Coachella Festival, where BAYLI joined the duo on stage for a standout performance in the packed-out Yuma tent—marking Sparrow & Barbossa’s first-ever appearance at the legendary California festival.
With intimate and weightless vocals from rising R&B star BAYLI, ‘Float’ shines a spotlight on Sparrow & Barbossa’s signature syncopated Caribbean House style, offering a taste of their eagerly awaited upcoming EP.
Sparrow & Barbossa is the collaborative project of Swiss DJ/producer Bryan Coletta and Uruguayan DJ/producer Emiliano Haberli. Since their early collaborations in Madrid, the duo has built a unique sound rooted in piano, tribal percussion, and a fusion of organic and electronic textures.
The son of jazz legend Francis Coletta, Bryan brings a deep musicality and creative edge to the partnership, while Emiliano—formerly a resident DJ at Space Ibiza—adds his expertise as a classically trained percussionist. Together, they’ve emerged as one of the most versatile and prolific acts in global dance music, with multiple Beatport #1s and an eclectic discography that crosses genres, languages, and borders.
Following years of high-profile collaborations with the likes of Sia, Rampa, Deadmau5, Jamie Jones, and PJ Sin Suela, the pair are entering a bold new phase in 2025. After their landmark debut at Coachella, they’re slated to perform at Circoloco Ibiza, Shellona in Saint Tropez, III Points in Miami, and Tomorrowland Belgium in October, along with other iconic stages worldwide.
