Italian tech house stallion Lorenzo De Blanck is back once again with some superb sounds in the form of ‘Speranza’.
This Moon Harbour regular has been defining the underground ever since he broke through. His tunes have come on outlets such as Hottrax and Saved, he is in demand everywhere from Resistance Ibiza to Sankeys to all the best clubs in Italy and runs his own underground party Simple.
This time out he strips his sounds back to their core essentials: a deft minimal house groove is icy and compelling.
Italian spoken words from the famous film by Charlie Chaplin “The Great Dictator” are layered over the top while smooth, frictionless drums and hits draw you into a mindful state. It is classy backroom house music for the small hours.
