Splash House and Goldenvoice Announce the Return of Desert Air

The clandestine California desert has long provided a refuge for urban escapees and creative types drawn to its unique convergence of modern and vintage aesthetics, shimmering horizons and vibrant sunrises, and musical tradition new and old. This November, Palm Springs continues this legacy with the return of Desert Air, a journey into the future of electronic music amongst the great expanse of the Mojave.

Desert Air, presented by Splash House and Goldenvoice, will bring an eclectic mix of avant garde tastemakers and genre-bending DJs to two of the region’s most idyllic open-air venues.

By day, music and cultural programming sets the stage at Palm Springs Surf Club, where poolside sets, cultural programming, water activities, and expansive food and beverage offerings await. By night, the party lands at the iconic grounds of the Palm Springs Air Museum, a destination known for positioning electronic music amidst its open-air tarmac and industrial hangers, set beneath the wings of vintage aircrafts and backdropped by the picturesque San Jacinto mountains.

Billing highlights include innovative super producer Jamie xx, the genre-defying Kaytranada, and special guest Club Heat, the newly formed collaborative project from Grammy-nominated artist Tove Lo and British singer-songwriter/producer SG Lewis. The lineup also features British icon Shygirl Presents Club Shy, underground queen VTSS, electropop star Slayyyter (DJ Set), and fast rising UK bass and garage phenom Sammy Virji.

The lineup continues with one of North America’s most respected selectors, Avalon Emerson, and the inimitable Joy Orbison who’s recent track ‘Flight FM’ has rivaled even his most prolific archival efforts. Genres continue to be crossed and melded with the likes of Swedish pop phenom COBRAH, Partiboi69 and KETTAMA’s KETBOI69, Australian standout Mall Grab, French trio Bon Entendeur, the ethereal soundscapes of Sofia Kourtesis, and an electrifying performance from Sam Gellaitry (Live).

Dedicated to shining a light on left of center movement leaders, Desert Air boasts sets from multi-hyphenate Pretty Girl (Live), Punjabi garage leader Yung Singh, Italy’s okgiorgio, London duo JOY (Anonymous), and underground rising stars Anish Kumar and ATRIP.

Desert Air is proud to partner with some of Los Angeles electronic music’s foremost flag bearers who challenge the status quo every weekend in found-spaces throughout the city’s forgotten underbellies. Desert Air welcomes sounds and experiences by Lights Down Low, Midnight Lovers, Por Detroit and Chapter One, who will host a pop-up record shop at the event.

Fans can also expect a series of to-be-announced after parties, top-tier food programming and more, offering an experience that reflects the multi-faceted landscape of global nightlife and the cultural hotbed of Palm Springs.

Accommodations are available to book via Desert Air at a range of partner hotels including Ace Hotel, The Saguaro, The V, Hyatt Palm Springs and more.

GA pass prices start at $184 plus ticketing fees. VIP passes start at $334 plus ticket fees. Lodging options at host hotels available starting at $285 for 2 people (per person), $172 for 4.
