Stacy Kidd has produced for labels such as Dance Mania, Ministry of Sound, Defected and more. He boasts an expansive and varied career, and his productions reflect this.
Stacy now brings his production mastery to Static with ‘Do It’ – almost an ode to classic house. There’s a filtered piano loop that forms the harmonic base and a mixture of acoustic and sampled drums provide a steady rhythm on top of which Stacy rolls out 7 and a half minutes of smooth dance floor goodness. A sporadic Rhodes lead plays a spiky and cut up melody, and every now and then a wah filter comes over the whole track. This track provides the listener with two things: an insight into the mind of a seasoned house producer, and a solid beat to dance to.
Stacy Kidd ‘Do It’ is out now from all digital store; including Spotify, iTunes, Traxsource and Beatport.
