STEFANO KOSA – TAKE ME

On March 17th refused. welcomes Italian producer Stefano Kosa to the  roster with his EP “Take Me.” Stefano’s roots in the Italian underground music scene have exposed him to the rawest and most intricate styles of house techno. It was in 2011 when Stefano realized his true talent, and received incredible appraisal form his first release “Again” which was released on Diva Records. Immediately after, Stefano’s productions were being recognized and supported by international heavyweight, specifically Richie Hawtin.

Stefano Kosa’s productions evoke a rawness and dark essence that are unique to his sound and style. Releasing on labels such as Deeperfect, Beat Therapy, Toolroom and Transmit, his productions have left their mark. Stefano Kosa is excited to release his next EP on refused. as its deep tech, and dark techno sound compliments the labels roster. This 3 piece EP “Take Me” is nothing less than a techno stormer. Each track is masterfully produced, showcasing a unique theme.

Take Me – Introduces the EP with this moody techno track, guided along with a strong rolling bassline. A classic industrial techno vibe dispenses a powerful and enchanting experience. Back – delivers atmospheric qualities with vast dimension. The track trails along, then builds again when you least expect it. Lost – is best described as techno turmoil. Expressing an urgency with its driving bassline and ominous vocals, Lost leaves us with an energetic ending.
