Steve Angello announces first solo album since Swedish House Mafia

Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum selling DJ/producer Steve Angello announced his debut albumWild Youth is slated for release on November 20th, 2015. The long anticipated LP will be Steve’s first proper album since his departure from Swedish House Mafia. It will be released on his own independent Size label after the producer parted ways with his major label in order to make an album of his unique vision.

He also shares the new video for his single ‘Children Of The Wild’ feat. Mako. It was directed by Guillaume Panariello and captures the rocky journey of a young boy striving to beat the odds. The 4 minute video is comprised of several 0.8 second scenes shot at 1000 fkps from a camera car running 35 km/h and featured no post production work resulting in an artful endeavour rarely seen in the dance world.

The track first premiered on International Children’s Day on June 1st and all artist revenue generated from the exclusive Spotify release for the month of June was donated to the Save the Children Foundation and its Nepal Disaster Relief Fund. Shortly after, Steve launched the ‘Children Of The Wild Remix Contest’ for youth aged 15 and under. The contest received support from Scratch DJ Academy and The Grammy Foundation and the winner will receive a mentoring session with the renowned producer.
