Further exploring concepts of a neon future, STEVE AOKI presents the next video from his arsenal for the song “Born To Get Wild” featuring will.i.am. The new video captures STEVE AOKI in a futuristic prison of some kind, ruled by a master played by Verne Troyer (Mini-Me from “Austin Powers”). will.i.am makes a cameo throughout. Teaming again with producer LORD DANGER, AOKI’s collaborator on the “Rage The Night Away” and “Delirious” videos, “Born To Get Wild” is a twist on how things aren’t always as they seem.
“Born To Get Wild” appears on STEVE AOKI’s album Neon Future I, out in the UK on 17th November on Dim Mak/Ultra Music. The album also includes his radio smash “Delirious (Boneless)” with Chris Lake and Tujamo featuring Kid Ink which recently achieved over 500,000 in sales marking AOKI’s first ever gold record. The song has had an incredible evolution, starting off as “Boneless,” an instrumental that had a massive groundswell in club and festival circles. It was then used as a base for the Neon Future album cut “Delirious”‹pushed forward by an infections rap courtesy of LA MC Kid Ink‹and went on to become a pop and rhythmic radio airplay favorite and Shazam Top 10 track.
