After releasing his stunning debut EP Space + Tyres EP via tastemaker label Majestic Casual last year, enigmatic Melbourne producer and songwriter Life Is Better Blonde is back with his latest offering in "Strange Organism".
With his short career littered with film awards and accolades from press all around the globe, including video "Fires" being awarded “video clip of the year” at the J Awards, shortlisted for Cannes Lions, and more, LIBB has showcased a wonderfully refreshing creativity across his career, with a keen critical eye for social issues.
Drawn to down tempo, lumbering kind of grooves, Life is Better Blonde’s "Strange Organism" is inspired by sonic accidents, broken sounding things and old voice memos.
"The track is about Social Media. The Voyeurism. The feeling of knowing things you shouldn't and also not knowing anything at all" – Life Is Better Blonde
The track was created at Life Is Better Blonde’s Melbourne home, and is the first encounter between LIBB and producer Andrei Eremin, whose previous credits include working with Grammy nominated Hiatus Kaiyote and Chet Faker.
