This Halloween, Brixton Electric will play host to an orchestral rendition of the Stranger Things soundtrack to coincide with the launch of the show’s second series.
First aired on Netflix in summer last year, Stranger Things quickly became a cult phenomenon. Set in 1980s America, the show has found a huge fan base in its clever storytelling and retro aesthetic.
As well as the original theme score by American band Survive, a suitabily nostalgic soundtrack gained much acclaim, with music from the likes Jefferson Airplane, New Order, Echo & The Bunnymen and more all featuring.
On Friday 27th October, the same day that the cult show’s second series is aired on Netflix, Brixton Electric will play host to an orchestral rendition of the show’s incredible soundtrack. A 16-piece orchestra will perform not only the iconic theme music but also tracks from throughout the first series.
Tickets start at £10 and will go on sale Tuesday 3rd October at 10am via a ticket sign up link: bit.ly/Stranger-Strings
