Australian producer Isaac Tichauer drops two infectious house tracks on the burgeoning and mysterious LOFT Records imprint.
Back in 2013 Tichauer signed to French Express, home to Jonas Rathsman, Moon Boots and label owner Perseus, where he dropped his lauded ‘Devotion’ LP – a fact made all the more inspiring knowing that the album is a first effort from a producer born completely deaf and now lives with just one working ear. Now residing in London, Tichauer joins the LOFT Records roster alongside the likes of Ejeca, Citizen and Dorsia for the label’s third exciting release.
‘Street Lessons’ is an infectious number geared for the dancefloor with its heady hook, vocal samples and crunchy snares. In contrast, ‘Higher Level’ is a production focused on a deeper aesthetic by utilizing intricate percussion, soothing pads and a purring bassline harmonized with poignant chimes. Run anonymously, LOFT Records plan to follow the release with a remix package featuring Bicep, Dorsia, Lancelot and Hackman.
Isaac Tichauer ‘Street Lessons’ EP drops on LOFT Records on 25th January 2016.
