Studio album “Mish Mash Thrash Crash” by Graham Graham Beck
13 tracks. 13th October 2026. Album number 13. Surely that’s a good sign…?
Mish Mash Thrash Crash is the 13th solo album from Graham Beck, arriving on 13th October 2026 — with, rather suspiciously, 13 tracks.
Graham said:
“It was originally going to be called Unlucky For Some, but I changed my mind. Just in case, you know, that it was unlucky.
Two years on from the last album, things have moved on — for me, just as much as they probably have for you — but the urge to keep the silliness alive in music remains firmly intact.
And there’s plenty of it here.
Mish Mash Thrash Crash is a gloriously unpredictable collection of styles, moods, subjects and sounds. There’s spoken word and snippets of an old tape recording from an American penpal in ‘Message From Connecticut’, Latino-tinged percussion, something vaguely resembling Art Pop (whatever that is), dancey and frantic moments, jazzy bits and pieces, and even a touch of Music Hall.
Trying to put it all into one musical box is probably asking for trouble, but ‘Surrealist Punk-Pop Cabaret’ seems to come reasonably close.
It’s an album that doesn’t take itself too seriously — but that doesn’t mean it isn’t serious about having something to say.
So let the silliness rub off on you.
Turn it up, shout “Mish Mash Thrash Crash!”, and see where it takes you.”
