Making a welcome entrance, Toronto/London based producer Sugar Jesus serves up his infectious new workout heater – titled ‘Body Moving’.
Following a collaboration with platinum selling heavy-hitter, Kiesza & continuing his run of recent studio output – Sugar Jesus is the artist moniker of songwriter, producer & DJ – Andrei Basirov. Learning piano from a young age, his productions are packed with colour – taking the listener on a journey across an array of soundscapes.
With previous releases on Universal Music, Sirup, Be Yourself & Soave – along with support from the likes of Hardwell, Sam Feldt, Swanky Tunes & StoneBridge – Sugar Jesus now drops his new single with revered Swedish vocalist, ILY.
Following her breakout collaboration on the Albin Myers & John Dahlback cut ‘Vibe’, along with the subsequent ‘Remedy’ (with Mike Mago & Tom Ferry) and more recent ‘Voices’ (with MoHawk & The Kid) – ILY continues to be championed across BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM, SLAM! FM & her native Swedish national station – Radio P3.
Fast forward to the present & signed to Sadboy Records, ‘Body Moving’ see’s Sugar Jesus & ILY pair anthemic vocals, 80’s inspired synths & four to the floor goodness – creating the perfect workout soundtrack & a future sure-fire player.
