Sultan + Shepard feat Tegan & Sara – Make Things Right

As if they weren’t on the top of their game already, pop duo Tegan & Sara are now featured on a brand new single by fellow Canadian electronic dance act Sultan + Shepard. ‘Make Things Right’ pays tribute to those who have felt forgotten and left out, encouraging them to rise up and believe in themselves. It’s a strong message born out of positivity and hopefulness, reminding all of us to make a change and improve the world we live in. Complemented by the distinct voices of Tegan & Sara, the song blends both the duo’s unique talents. combining indie pop elements with a cool, contemporary dance groove. Should we call it a match made in heaven? Well, at least it’s a track that lives up to its title, a superb Canadian collaboration making things right.

Of course, Sultan + Shepard aren’t new to the industry. Hailing from Montreal and currently operating from Los Angeles, the Grammy nominated duo, have proved to be more than just a one hit wonder. Tagged by Beatport as the “Kings of the Progressive Scene”, they’ve produced quite a few festival hits in the past few years including “Walls”, “All These Roads” and “When We Were Young” as well as massive collaborations with electronic dance acts like NERVO, Tiësto, Fedde le Grand and Dillon Francis. Canadian Indie Pop vocal duo Tegan & Sara have been on the move too lately, recently featuring in the official soundtrack of the Lego Movie, and delivering a smashing live performance at the Oscar awards ceremony.

The lyric video for ‘Make Things Right’ on YouTube, has already notched half a million views, while the track has received massive support from DJs like Avicii, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero and Steve Aoki. As the track is gaining festival momentum, it also seems like the airwaves are picking up on this unique crossover tune more and more.

Released on the world’s most popular dance imprint, Spinnin’ Records, this tune is making things right in a beautifully created world ,where emotional indie pop meets fetching electronic sounds. For sure another pinnacle in both Canadian acts’ careers, it’s only a summer anthem away of becoming a timeless classic.
