SUMMER LOVE FESTIVAL Saturday September 4th

Welcome to Summer Love Festival 2021, which takes place at East Byshee Showground in Lingfield, Surrey on Saturday 4th September  with Terry Francis, Mr C, Kid Batchelor, Eddie Richards, Darren Emerson, Terry Farley, David Scuba, Cici, and many more plus Live performances from Adamski, legendary ‘Tear’s singer Robert Owens and Saytek.

Delivering a 12 hour festival of boutique atmospheres and intimate crowds, cultured house, acid and techno from across the ages – and all set in a stunning leafy setting that harks back to the golden era of rave.

The main Summer Love Arena will echo the legendary M25 orbital raves of 1988/89 and is unlike any other Old School event or festival because of its totally definitive and authentic line up of DJs from the first wave of Acid House and Techno Culture. These DJs and artists created the London scene in 1987/88/89 – Mr C, Eddie Richards & Kid Batchelor  – residents at the RIP parties @Clink Street & Sunrise raves; Kid Batchelor & MC E-Mix – Confusion De Londra, Sunrise etc; Terry Farley – Boys Own; Jazzy M – LWR Radio – Ellis Dee – Genesis/Raindance – and are responsible for starting the first wave of underground electronic music that has formed the basis of the dance music culture the world enjoys today. Adamski’s legendary Live N’Direct shows were part of most of the M25 Rave scene and Rage whilst Robert Owens of the legendary Chicago group, Fingers Inc, located to London at the height of 1988 and crossed over into history with his ‘Tears’ anthem.

Tent 2 is the Superfreq Arena, with boss men Mr C and David Scuba joined by Saytek Live and a cast of cutting edge DJs playing the very best upfront Acid House, Tech House, Minimal Tech & Techno music. Tent 3 is the Graffiti Kings Radio Arena, which will feature talented hosts from the radio station playing all shades of house, afro and deep house and Tent 4 is the Alternative Arena with DJs playing Soul, Funk, Dub Reggae, Disco, Old School Electro, Old School NY Garage, Nu Wave and Electronic Pop that acted as a pre-curser to Acid House culture.

The sound, lighting, projections and staging production will be fully designed to immerse you in a world of colour like no other. There will also be gourmet food pop ups, fully licensed bars, fun fair attractions and merchandise stalls adding to the overall experience. For those who can’t get enough, watch out for details of the after hours session 10-15 minutes from the festival site to be announced.

The original loved up 88-92 generation will feel perfectly at home at Summer Love, as will the new generation of partygoers, as this carefully curated event is designed to replicate the late 80s orbital raves but with a modern festival production. This specialist dance gathering delivers the very best in House, Acid, Techno & Alternative, music from the roots & inception of Acid House’s  culture right up to today’s current sounds, pulling together discerning old school ravers and the new generation alike.

To respect & preserve the natural environment, this is a “Leave No Trace” event, which means all rubbish goes into bins, and taken away from the site leaving it in a pristine condition. At this present time, new Government Covid legislation dictates that all people attending events must provide proof on a smart phone of a Negative Covid Lateral Flow Test, which must be received by all attendees 48 hours prior to this event. This includes all talent & staff as well as festival goers.
