Jude & Frank, 1 World, Bob Marley - Sun Is Shining

Italian duo Jude & Frank kick-start the New Year with a collaboration alongside 1 World, as they step up to deliver a long-awaited re-work of Bob Marley’s ‘Sun Is Shining.’ Out now via Sony Music Germany/RCA Records.

Known for delivering tasteful and exciting re-works to classic songs, Jude & Frank have established themselves as front-runners in studio production. Turning their hand to Will Villa’s ‘Ay Curura,’ the pair sampled Totó La Momposina’s vocals for their 2017 single ‘La Luna,’ receiving support from Pete Tong on his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix and securing #1 on Beatport. 

Continuing to exercise their flare for modern re-works, the duo enlists the talents of 1 World, following a series of writing sessions together in Los Angeles. Sampling Bob Marley’s iconic vocals, the trio stay faithful to the spirit of the original, injecting an undeniable dose of fresh energy and elevating the track to a club-ready status. 

Hailing from Rome, Jude & Frank have become an important rising name in the International house music scene in recent years, boasting releases via top labels Armada Music, Big Beat (Atlantic Records) and Sosumi Records to name a few. Influenced by a love for Latin vibes and disco-dipped house sounds, the duo’s aptly named mix series ‘The Groovebox Radio Show’ was launched in November, proving that their talents spread far beyond the studio.
