Mark Mackenzie is back! The young, Scottish producer brings us his new release, demonstrating two very distinct sides to his productions.
The A side, 'Sun Stroke' is a mean and menacing acid tipped club record, with rolling drums and resonant synths throughout. A true throwback to the 90s 'glory days' of house music.
On the AA side, Mark gives us the stunning 'Millennial Groove' showing his ability to paint soft, developing atmospheres over organic drums. Arp lines weave in and out whilst airy vocal chops create hooks over the gratifying sound palette. This one deserves to be listened to from start to finish for full appreciation.
