SXMusic Festival Announces Next Wave of Talent for the Caribbean

SXMusic Festival Announces Next Wave of Talent for the Caribbean – Maceo Plex, Guy Gerber, Apollonia & Many More

SXMusic is set to take place in the idyllic Caribbean paradise of St Martins in March 2016, and already tickets have begun to sell fast after the likes of Jamie Jones, Dubfire, DJ Tennis, Lee Burridge, Adriatique, Thugfucker, Blond:ish, Francesca Lombardo and Psychemagik were all announced to play. Now a second wave of acts has been announced that confirms this is the only festival you need to visit in the coming year.

Helping to make it so are a massive next wave of mouth watering names, which include the global taste making superstars that are Rumors boss Guy Gerber, French trio Apollonia and Ellum Audio boss Maceo Plex who headline only the biggest and best clubs and festivals anywhere on the planet. Joining them are Visionquest stars Shaun Reeves and Ryan Crosson, plus Canadian synth specialists My Favourite Robot, Dynamics main man H.O.S.H plus Behrouz and Brooklyn based duo Bedouin.

As if that wasn’t enough, there is also to be sets from Ibiza favourites AudioFly, tech giants M.A.N.D.Y. and No 19 artists Maher Daniel and Nitin. Former member of Art Department turned solo Kenny Glasgow also plays and Odd Parents, Shall Ochin and Lauren Lane complete this latest line-up.

What stands SXMusic apart is the fact it invites DJs to stay all week, to play extended sets, to switch up their usual vibe and dig deep. They will play a a stunning selection of locations from a secluded farm to a sunset beach to a picture perfect bay surrounded by lush green jungle and rolling hills.

There are secret retreats, infinity pools, VOID Sound Systems throughout and carefully programmed stages that offer soundtracks that evolve as the day unfolds. There will parties in boats and in villas, after parties on the beach and pool parties surrounded by local wild life, palm trees and clear blue sea and you will be fuelled the whole time by the exquisite local cuisine, which is a mix of  Dutch and French culture. In short, this is a perfect setting for the most memorable musical event of your life.

It is fair to say, then, that the scene is all set for SXMusic to lay down a new bench mark when it comes to summer festival experiences.

Flight prices fluctuate so it’s best to monitor travel sites for the best deals and set price alerts to keep track of bargains that may appear. Prices tend to dip on a Tuesday so this is a good time to look.

Kayak.com, Skyscanner.com and Google.com/flights are generally the best sites to use.

For those who don’t wish to hire a car (although we recommend you do to fully experience Saint Martin), SXMusic will be running a shuttle bus service (for a small fee) to transport revellers to and from the main parties.

Taxis tend to be big in size and can accommodate several passengers. Rates are good but many don't have meters so make sure you agree a price before you start your journey!
