The cosmos are vast and ever expanding. We live in an universe of infinity. One that is coupled with infinite possibilities of both chaos and order. Szkatulski & Kosmalski’s Keep It EP speaks directly to that notion. This three track EP is a composition of interstellar wonder and auditory aesthetic beauty juxtaposing against the traditionally chaotic musical elements found in modern techno.
Damian Szkatulski and Maciej Kosmalski, known as S&K are a fresh duo at the stage of electronic music. Formation Szkatulski & Kosmalski is a connection of technical sounds with strong basslines. They are recognized by their individual approach to mixing – each of them represents different from each other unconventional style of mixing. Sets played by this duet can be described as mix of ambient sounds of deep, house and other styles of more technical music. Each of them puts piece of himself in the set. Surprising each other, they form an phenomenal explosive mixture. Together they oppose in general music media Papee, served by radio stations.
At the moment they show their first production in Downpour Recordings, Canadian based record company, founded by Peter Marrone and Andreas Rizek, focused on the underground dance music scene, and are working on the next great EP.
