T IN THE PARK 2016 IS UNDERWAY
The wait is over for the fun to begin – T in the Park got underway this afternoon as the first campers arrived and pitched their tents.
The sun shone down on the Perthshire countryside this afternoon as the campsite gates opened, and festival organisers DF Concerts and founding partners Tennent’s Lager welcomed the first fans to T in the Park 2016!
There’s still time for music lovers to make sure they’re part of the celebrations and get their hands on the last few remaining tickets – available now from www.tinthepark.com.
Calum Park from South Lanarkshire said: “I’m excited for T in the Park as it’s an incredible weekend to be surrounded by great mates, great music, and have lots of fun and just have a really amazing time!”

Festival Director Geoff Ellis said: “The moment we open the T in the Park campsite gates and welcome the first campers is always my favourite part of the weekend. THE AFTER PARTY
T in the Park is famous for its after party. This year campers can have a barrel of laughs The Stand Comedy Tent, take in an extravagant burlesque performance from Club Noir on Thursday and Friday night, sing along to their favourite tune at Band-aoke all weekend and dance the night away in the Slam Tent which opens on the Thursday night with a host of Scottish talent. Glaswegian popstress Kloe will also host her own stage Kloe presents Blakout on Thursday night.
THE TENNENT’S ARMS
Check out the belter of a line-up, curated by the Sub Club, for the Tennent’s Arms at T in the Park 2016! Headliners Greg Wilson, Marquis Hawkes & Horse Meat Disco will be joined by a whole host of incredible Scottish DJ talent alongside Tennent’s Lager cocktails and an outdoor roof terrace offering views of the Main Arena.
