Following their last sell-out event at The Arch and an incredible year of parties in London Ibiza & Brighton, Take are back in the south east with HUGE special guests for their first party of 2016.
With big plans set for an eventful year ahead, Take are proud to present the innovators of the ‘G-House’ movement & CUFF label bosses, Amine Edge & DANCE playing exclusively at The Arch on Saturday 6th February!
From the south of France, Amine Edge & DANCE have conquered the world! Made famous for their great tracks and remixes, the duet was able to inject a stream of cool in the middle of the house music by creating their unique style. An explosive one that combines the big bass of Funk and inspirations of Hip-House in the late '80s, as evidenced by their excellent "Halfway Crooks" or their hit "Going to Heaven With The Goodie-Goodies" with sample of Notorious BIG! As and when the tracks and remixes to sign Amine Edge & DANCE become real references and are tops in Beatport charts and playlists of the most influential DJs in the middle! Are now ready to raise their hands for a good musical circle with gangsters House! Clearly the hottest duet of the moment !
Amine Edge & DANCE are two artists from Marseille, France who were childhood buddies and who now share a love of the heavy bass, fat booties, and the “so fresh so clean” approach of American textiles. They have managed to create their own style: a real grind-up of musical influences that include suave Washington soul, the groove of Philli’s funk, NYC rap slang and the Vertigo of the voguing from the first houses parties of Chicago. It is in England, always a leader when it comes to musical trends, that they are taking the Royal road, wining house purists as fans, but also in the US are people massively into their work. The pair are always filling larger rooms and bringing with them a uniquely mad vibe. Their tracks regularly strike the top of the Beatport charts; they’ve played more than 130 dates per year and their remixes snap like a junky looking for freebase in a Baltimore crack house. With hip-hop in their soul, Amine Edge & DANCE like to share; to share their many DJ sets on Soundcloud, share their daily life, and finally share their love of the dancefloor. Recently, they have launched their own label, CUFF, a collective of artists all more talented than most and soon to spark in clubs worldwide. CUFF is a desire, a crew, and a response to the expectations of those who have become geeks listening to "Chronic" by Dr. Dre. CUFF represents lovers of these cultures that have rocked us, and which make us vibrate. But fuck… this is not even a label that we are talking about, it’s a fucking movement!
