Josh Wink - Talking To You – Carl Cox & Jon Rundell Remixes

August 8th sees Intec’s esteemed label co-heads Carl Cox and Jon Rundell both put their own unique spin on Josh Wink’s illustrious 2014 hit ‘Talking To You’, distributed via the aforementioned imprint.

This impressive two-track offering follows a whole host high quality 2016 Intec releases including the Beatport chart topping ‘Intec 100’, which last saw Carl and Jon team up to deliver a release well worthy of its billing.

Carl Cox’s interpretation commences the release, boasting the original’s ‘I’m Talking To You’ vocal sample set to a driving Tech House rhythm with a looped-up manipulated chord riff and an abundance of squelchy acid bleeps.

Jon Rundell’s re-work follows and ventures down more of a darker Techno route, utilising the original’s vocal sample and acidline but adding a pounding TR-909-laden groove, sinister sound effects and a clever arrangement.  

You can catch the Ovum Records label boss Josh Wink perform alongside Carl at his final ever season at Space Ibiza (every Tuesday until September 20th) on August 16th.

‘Talking To You’ (Carl Cox & Jon Rundell Remixes) is available exclusively via Beatport from August 8th and everywhere else two weeks later.
