TCTS Announces new EP, Ushers in New Era of Creative Expression

For more than a decade, TCTS has carved out a singular space in electronic music—one that fluidly connects peak-time club dynamics with the polish of modern pop production. Now, teaming up with US distributor Gamma under the imprint TACTICS, the Manchester-born DJ, producer, and tastemaker is stepping into his own, establishing a home for his distinct sonic identity.

The EPs lead single, Take Me (Favourite Place), distills TCTS’s club sensibilities into a sleek, kinetic cut—rhythmic precision meets an undeniable melodic touch. It’s the sound of an artist who understands the alchemy of a great dancefloor moment but isn’t tied to formula.

The track also marks the start of a wider run of releases that will see him roll out five new singles throughout 2025, each one pushing deeper into his evolving palette.

TCTS isn’t just making moves as a producer. His Kiss Dance residency— recently moved to a key Saturday night slot—has become a platform for both his own selections and will play host to B2B sets alongside artists like Marshall Jefferson, Gorgon City, CHANEY and Young Franco.

It’s a natural extension of his instincts as a DJ: knowing what works in a set, but also what’s missing—what could be brought to the table to shift the energy in an unexpected way.

The launch of this EP is a culmination of a decade-long journey. TCTS first broke through with releases on Greco-Roman and MTA Records, before landing on labels like Defected, Toolroom, Selected, Armada, and Ministry of Sound, where his Kelis and Sage the Gemini-featuring single “Do It Like Me (Icy Feet)” amassed over 12 million Spotify streams, entered the UK Top 40 Singles Dance Chart, clocked up six weeks at the top of the Radio 1 Dance Chart and was most played specialist tune that year.

His music moves seamlessly between the underground and the mainstream, drawing acclaim from Pitchfork, i-D, The Guardian, and Mixmag, and soundtracking dancefloors from Printworks to Amnesia Ibiza.

If 2024 was about proving his versatility—dropping 10 releases across a wide swath of club sounds—then 2025 is about sharpening his focus.

With Take Me (Favourite Place) leading the way, TCTS is stepping into a new phase—one where he’s not just responding to dance music’s shifting landscape but helping to shape it.
