One of the freshest things to happen to tech house in 2020, Redux Saints serves up such feelgood chuggy groves in this latest outing, it’s almost impossible to stop dancing…
Continuing his fine run of form in 2020 with a relentless release schedule of back to back, quality tech house releases, LA’s Redux Saints now joins the Purple Tea Records family with new single, To My Beat, released exclusively on Beatport today, Friday 16th October. Officially launched in Canada in 2018, the innovative tech-house label, Purple Tea is the perfect setting for the next Redux Saints release as he continues to showcase why he is one of the most in demand tech house producers around.
Stream/Buy ‘To My Beat’ now on Beatport (https://fanlink.to/PTR026) and across all platforms from 30th October.
The Redux Saints name has been everywhere in 2020 when it comes to talking tech house. One of the hardest working guys in the biz, he now holds nine consecutive Beatport Top 100 releases, a Beatport ‘On Our Radar’ accolade, and has clocked key support from his underground peers in Chris Lake, Joseph Capriati, Claptone, Mark Knight and more. Whether it be on the numerous Spotify editorial playlist features, releases on Stealth, Toolroom and LOW CEILING, or heading up his forward-thinking Deep Tech Los Angeles Records label, he is always up to something.
Aka Jason Trevor Miller, the love affair of Redux Saints and Purple Tea Records founders, Justin Blanc and Camille, began after meeting at the Brighton Music Conference in 2017 and again at ADE in 2018. That same year, Purple Tea was born and Justin and Camille have been carefully plotting the label’s growth ever since with signings from Sonickraft, J Paul Getto and Mike Ivy amongst others, and regular shows on Data Transmission Radio serving as the perfect platform to deliver Purple Tea music to the masses.
On meeting with Redux Saints, Justin Blanc said: “It’s an absolute pleasure to welcome our good friend to the label with a track that incorporates the patent-pending Thicc Kicc™ technology – something both our labels have been hard at work with for years! It’s been a bromance ever since we met at BMC. You cannot find a funnier, more humble guy. He has a kick-ass work ethic, a unique ear, and a booty that never quits resulting in the ultimate dance weapon. Electronic music is not only a community, but also a family, and this release is proof of that. Redux Saints is hot, and we want a piece before everybody else takes a slice.”
‘To My Beat’ is immediately recognisable as a Redux Saints production. From the arrangement to the mix, it punches from the very start and doesn’t let up. Layered with yummy textures and infectious vocals, ‘To My Beat’ is a feelgood chugger with an irresistible urge to make the listener move to the groove, from start to finish.
With even more releases and remixes etched for 2020 on DTLA, Hood Politics, Incorrect Records, and a huge single slated for Toolroom, Redux Saints continues to underline his growing reputation for big tunes and consistent quality.
