British-Nigerian spoken word artist Temi T has unveiled her latest single, “Painted Intentions”, marking one of her most vulnerable and dynamic works to date. Blending spoken word with jazz, R&B, and hip-hop influences, the track explores the emotional fallout of a decade-long friendship ending, diving into themes of identity, grief, and reclaiming one’s truth.

Temi describes the title as a metaphor for how people “paint” false versions of others in their minds and act upon those projections.
